People don't understand that these kids have to be on these meds that are so bad for them. People don't realize that Prednisone causes brittle bones, cataracts, Cushing's Disease. They don't realize that kids with JRA are stuck taking medicines like steroids that can hurt them, or that it's practically the only treatment for JDM kids. (Then again, most of these people have never even heard of either one!) I appreciate ANY effort that I see to raise awareness. I applaud you for putting this together so well.
